Nick Frost welcomes third baby as he shares snap leaving hospital with newborn

Nick Frost has welcomed his third child and shared an adorable pic of him taking his new baby home from hospital.

The Hot Fuzz actor, 49, posted a snap of him carrying the new arrival in a baby car seat with the caption: "And then there were 3!!!! (Kids that is!) #thrilled #soinlove #grateful #incrediblemumma."

A few days ago Nick teased the new arrival with a pic of himself in hospital, posting: "It begins..."

The actor already has a two-year-old son with his girlfriend, who he was said to be dating in 2018, but little is known about their relationship.

Nick also has another son, Mac, 10, who he shares with ex-wife Christina Frost.

The couple got married in 2008 before going on to divorce in 2015.

Talking about their relationship, Nick told The Guardian in 2019: "I think when Chris and I got divorced we knew people who didn't [get along] and you see what it does to their kids.

"I get sometimes that there's no other option, but once you've made the choice to get divorced for the benefit of the child, it seems churlish to then be shit to each other."

Best known for his role as PC Danny Butterman in Hot Fuzz, Nick recently sent fans of the film into a frenzy when he reunited with co-star Simon Pegg.

Nick shared an sweet photo of the two actors hugging on his Instagram page with the caption: "We only had 40 minutes together but we cuddled for 30 of them. Gosh it was nice."

The pair haven't worked together since 2013's The World's End, the third and final installation of their Cornetto trilogy, which began with 2004's Shaun of the Dead and also included 2007 action comedy Hot Fuzz.

Last year Simon also hinted at the possibility of a Hot Fuzz sequel, which would go down a storm with its loyal fanbase.

”I think it's the one film out of those three movies that lends itself to a sequel, in that, those kind of buddy-cop action movies were often sequelised," he told Movieweb.com.

Simon and Nick worked together on Amazon series Truth Seekers last year, about a group of British paranormal investigators, which marked the first time the pair had been together on the small screen in over 20 years.

They cut their teeth on British sitcom Spaced, which was written by Simon and starred Nick and ran from 1999 to 2001.

The pair were last seen on screen together in a hilarious video posted on their shared YouTube account in March 2020 at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Entitled 'The Plan,' the video was a mock "public service announcement," light-heartedly laying out guidelines for how to cope with the global pandemic.
