Nick Chubb continues to create big plays in the Cleveland Browns running game. The second-year running back often does it on his own, too. He’s the best in the league at breaking tackles.
Chubb is tied with Tennessee’s Derrick Henry for the most broken tackles in the last eight games, a period which stretches back to Week 13 of last season. Both have 16 in tracking by NFL Inside Edge.
According to Pro Football Focus, eight of those broken tackles (they refer to them as “avoided tackles”) have come in the first three games of the 2019 season. He’s also one of the top RBs in yards after contact.
