Nick Cave tour 2019: How to get tickets for ‘Conversations’ shows at the Barbican and across the UK

Nick Cave has announced a series of UK dates for 2019, which will see him mix live performance with conversation.

The musician’s An Evening of Talk and Music shows will see Cave take questions from the audience, and perform songs on the piano.

The tour will visit the Barbican in London on June 19, as well as Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.

Cave describes the new shows as “an exercise in connectivity”, welcoming guest to be bold and ask challenging questions.

“I thought that a direct conversation with the audience might be valuable – in the recent live shows we have all shown a kind of willingness to open up,” Cave said about the upcoming shows.

Cave last performed in the UK as part of the 2018 All Points East Festival, where he was joined on stage by Kylie Minogue in Victoria Park.
