The Arizona Cardinals have the No. 1 pick in the 2019 draft, which means they should take the best player in the draft. That is especially so because they do not need to draft a quarterback.
So draft rankings should be something of intrigue for fans.
In the latest big board for Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling, updated since the Senior Bowl, the top player remains the same. It is Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa.
However, the top 10 is quite interesting. Should the Cardinals trade out of the top pick, these other players will be worth some attention from fans.
Easterling’s top 10 prospects are as follows:
- Ohio State DE Nick Bosa
- Alabama DT Quinnen Williams
- Houston DL Ed Oliver
- LSU LB Devin White
- Kentucky OLB Josh Allen
- Alabama RB Josh Jacobs
- Washington CB Byron Murphy
- Mississippi WR D.K. Metcalf
- Alabama OT Jonah Williams
- Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins
Eight of those players could be drafted by the Cardinals if they are anywhere in the top 10. Only Jacobs and Haskins would likely not be under consideration, being that they already have David Johnson and Josh Rosen.
Bosa still makes the most sense for now at No. 1, but if they trade out, then it could be a number of players and that would be a lot of fun to follow.
