Nick Bosa liked Instagram posts featuring racist and homophobic slurs

Nick Bosa’s social media history continues to be a problem, and it goes beyond Twitter.

In the days leading up to Thursday’s NFL draft, many noticed that the Ohio State prospect’s Twitter page had been scrubbed of his controversial tweets that criticized Colin Kaepernick, Marvel’s Black Panther and promoted Donald Trump.

When asked about the wave of deleted tweets, Bosa said that his agents went through his Twitter and deleted anything that could be potentially problematic.

He said at the time:

“I had to,” he says. “There is a chance I might end up in San Francisco.”

But in recent days, Bosa’s Instagram history has been placed under the microscope, and the Twitter account, @RzstProgramming, uncovered that Bosa liked multiple Instagram posts that featured the N-word and a homophobic slur.

The account pointed to 2014 posts from a John Harrington, who attended St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida with Bosa. Harrington posted a selfie with a series of incoherent hashtags that featured the N-word, “rape and pillage” and a homophobic slur. Bosa’s Instagram account, nbsmallerbear, was among the accounts to “like” the photo.

In a separate February 2014 post, Harrington can be seen in an Aquinas shirt with a caption that included the N-word hash-tagged below — along with “rape and pillage.” Bosa liked that photo as well.

Screenshots of those Instagram posts were captured shortly before Harrington deleted every post from his page. Bosa continues to follow a separate John Harrington private account.

Bosa has yet to specifically address those old Instagram posts and why he hit “like” on them. He wasn’t too concerned when asked about his Twitter on Wednesday.

According to ESPN’s Todd McShay, Bosa’s political beliefs and social media are not expected to impact his draft stock. He’s projected to go in the top 5.

But it may certainly affect how he is viewed in an NFL locker room.
