Nick Bosa injured hamstring in practice for 49ers

The Arizona Cardinals considered drafting defensive end Nick Bosa first overall in the 2019 draft but ultimately decided on quarterback Kyler Murray. One of the biggest knocks on Bosa was his durability.

That durability has already come into question after getting drafted second overall by the San Francisco 49ers.

He injured his hamstring in practice during organized team activities. The severity of the injury is not yet known.

Hamstring injuries and other soft tissue injuries are not uncommon in offseason work. However, because he missed time in college with injuries, this immediately will draw attention to those concerns.

San Francisco isn’t likely worried. It is probably just a sore hamstring but if he is already getting dinged up after not working out for teams leading up to the draft, it will be something to watch throughout the year.
