Nick and Tesla's Secret Agent Gadget Battle by Bob Pflugfelder and Steve Hockensmith - review

This book was imaginative, interesting and all-round exciting! It captured my imagination and I just couldn't put it down!

It was all about these two kids who were at their uncle's house for the summer after their parents, agriculture experts, had to go to Uzbekistan to study soybean growth. Then they got a worrying message from their mum about spies trying to find them. It's then all about them trying to find the spy using gadgets you can make at home!!!!! Some equipment includes fingerprint cards, cameras and lollypop sticks!

I liked the part when Nick had to do a stunt and fall in the mud pit that he was meant to jump over for part of their plan! I thought that D Mario's parents were very rude! They thought Nick and Tesla were 'bad influences' and were very rude to them and their family. I did not like those characters.

This book exceeded my expectations, as I originally thought this would be boring - I was so wrong! It was amazing, awesome, unbelievable, un-put-down-able and absolutely terrific!!!!!!

I would recommend this for 8 and over but clever a 7 year-old could read this.
