Nicholas Hoult has opened up about why his relationship with Jennifer Lawrence was a no-go.
The British actor went from being the cute little kid from About A Boy to a bona fide Hollywood heartthrob.
He got together with Jennifer Lawrence in the early days of her career, before she became one of Hollywood's most famous actresses, and all was rosy.
Then, Lawrence bagged the lead role in Winter's Bone, which sent her career soaring. This lead to her being cast as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, which changed everything for her and Hoult.

"It was an odd dynamic," he tells The Times Saturday Magazine.
"When Jen and I were first together, I don't think Winter's Bone had even come out.
"So there was this meteoric rise and it was scary how much someone's life can change and scary how intrusive things became."
It hit a peak when someone hacked into Jennifer's phone and got hold of some private saucy photos she had sent to Hoult.
"The scrutiny. It feels like you're constantly being watched. There are people always around secretly trying to get photographs. It makes it very difficult to relax and it happened on such a grand scale," he recalled.
Nicholas and J-Law still remain friends, as he describes her "like family".
Hoult is currently starring in new biopic Tolkien, about the Lord Of The Rings author, which is released on May 3rd.
