Niche releases 2019 college party town rankings; where does Athens fall?

Niche released its annual rankings for the nation’s top college party towns recently and of course, the Classic City made the list.

Athens, Georgia came in second on the list behind Tulane in New Orleans, Louisiana.  However, most Bulldog fans have had enough of the Sugar State for a while after two of last season’s three losses for Georgia came on the Bayou.

The Top 10 is as follows.

1. Tulane- New Orleans, LA
2. Georgia- Athens, GA
3. West Virginia- Morgantown, WV
4. Wisconsin- Madison, WI
5. Howard- Washington, DC
6. Illinois- Champaign, IL
7. Indiana- Bloomington, IN
8. Alabama- Tuscaloosa, AL
9. Florida State- Tallahassee, FL
10. Texas- Austin, TX

Athens is one of two SEC towns to be ranked inside the Top 10 along with Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
