Nice airport has been evacuated, with armed troops shutting down the entire scene.
The airport's luggage claim area was evacuated and military were inside the building, according to reports.
A suspect package had been left at the airport, leading to the shutdown, said people on the scene.
But police later allowed passengers back into the airport, with the situation being described as returning to normal
