Nic White v Mathieu Raynal video shows heated post-match argument in entirety

It's five days since the blockbuster Bledisloe Cup encounter between Australia and New Zealand, but the drama hasn't stopped there.

Stan Sport, who are the broadcaster for The Rugby Championship, have released unseen footage of Nic White and Mathieu Raynal's heated exchange following the final whistle.

White took the Wallabies into a 37-34 lead on 77 minutes with a mammoth 50 metre penalty, and it looked as if he'd kicked his side to Bledisloe Cup glory.

The boys in Gold earned themselves a penalty on their own five metre line with just 90 seconds of play remaining, but after multiple calls from Raynal for Foley to play on, the Wallaby 10 was penalised for time-wasting.

We all saw the immediate outrage and subsequent All Blacks try that rocked the rugby world on Thursday, but new footage shows White and Raynal exchanging some choice words after the final whistle.

"I told you two times and then you still continued." explained Raynal.

"I understand but he was just about to kick it and for two seconds..." replied White.

"No, no no." denied the referee.

"Mate that just cost us The Rugby Championship!" fumed White.

Raynal went on to explain to the Wallaby skipper that it "was not fair" that they were running the clock down with just moments to go.

"If you think I'm not capable to give a scrum, you make a mistake," said Raynal.

The Rugby Championship has more than delivered on the drama side of things, and this certainly adds fuel to the fire going into the final round of the competition this weekend.

There are just five points separating all four teams after last weekend's action.

  1. New Zealand - 14 pts
  2. South Africa - 14 pts
  3. Australia - 10 pts
  4. Argentina - 9 pts
