The Niall Quinn-led consortium that wants to reform the League of Ireland is ready to present its proposals to the FAI .
Quinn and up to eight figureheads from the sporting and business worlds have been working on a radical proposal for the best part of a year.
It emerged yesterday the former Ireland striker has already held informal talks over the phone with newly-appointed interim FAI boss Noel Mooney.
And the pair plan to have face-to-face talks once Mooney officially steps into his role on Monday week.
Quinn has also spoken to PFAI chief Stephen McGuinness.
And his group will attend a stakeholders’ forum into Irish football at the Mansion House in Dublin next Friday, which will be hosted by Minister for Sport Shane Ross.
