Niall Horan 'too ill' to play on Graham Norton Show as he gives update on social media

Niall Horan has said he was "too ill" to perform on the Graham Norton Show this week.

In an update on his social media the Mullingar singer said he wasn't up to performing midweek.

However he did apologise to his fans and hopes to be back on the show again shortly.

Niall said on Twitter: "Sorry I couldn’t make an appearance on @grahnort guys.

"The show is shot during the week and I was too ill to get involved. If Graham will have me back, i’ll get on again soon. "

And fellow Irish man Graham replied saying he will be welcome back on the show anytime.

Former One Direction star Niall was supposed to play some of his new songs from hit album Heartbreak Weather and have a chat with the host.

Niall Horan serenaded his fans from the sitting room of his London home (Instagram)

Horan did not say what exactly was wrong with him but shared an image on Instagram today of himself soaking up the sun and appears to be on the mend.

The hit maker has been spending his time in LA and London during the coronavirus pandemic and giving fans live performances over his social media accounts.

He also appeared on RTE's The Late Late Show in recent weeks.
