Niall Horan reveals he has been working on new music with Lewis Capaldi over Zoom

Niall Horan revealed he’s collaborating with Lewis Capaldi admitting the pair have been busy writing music over Zoom.

The Mullingar native, 26, who is close pals with the Scottish superstar said they have been having weekly catch-up drinks online during the pandemic.

The duo have been teasing the collaboration for months, but it appears isolation may have forced them to get working on some music - virtually - behind the scenes.

Asked when he last spoke to the Someone You Loved hitmaker during an Instagram Live, Niall said: “I didn’t see him this weekend.

"We usually have a few drinks on a Saturday night on Zoom but we didn’t chat this weekend.”

“I think I’m writing with him at some point this week. We have a little schedule going.”

The dynamic duo penned a track together last year, although it is yet to be released.

Lewis said in October: “We did do a song together. I love it. I don’t know if it will come out, I hope it will. I really, really need the money.”

The collaboration has excited thousands of fans, after the Mullingar native was forced to cancel his 2020 Nice To Meet Ya tour, in which Lewis was supposed to be his support act.
