Irish popstar Niall Horan took an adoring crowd with him as played in the Irish Pro-Am in Clare today.
The Mullingar singer was among a host of stars that enjoyed the stunning sunshine at Lahinch Golf Club.
Horan hit the fairways to much fanfare alongside actor Jimmy Nesbitt, impressionist Conor Moore and Italian pro Guido Migliozzi.
The former One Direction man is a huge fan of the sport with one of his business interests a golf management company.
Fellow singers Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden also enjoyed a day out on the links along with former Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Offaly man Shane Lowry, who is the home favourite to win the main event, shared some tips with ace hurlers Joe Canning, Cian Lynch and Shane O’Donnell.
Davy Fitzgerald was back in his native county and in high spirits after guiding Wexford to a Leinster title last Sunday.
And there could have been a few quid on the line as businessmen JP McManus and Dermot Desmond played with legendary jockey AP McCoy.
The rugby world was represented by former Ireland stars Paul O'Connell, Keith Wood and Luke Fitzgerald.
The serious stuff will start tomorrow though as 100,000 people are set to pile through the gates before the 2019 Irish Open champion is crowned on Sunday.
