NI news: Two teens injured following assault 'involving knuckle duster' in East Belfast

Two teens were injured following an attack involving a knuckle duster in East Belfast, police say.

The PSNI has issued an appeal for information following the incident on Orangefield Lane, which took place at around 7.45pm on October 17.

It has been reported that a group of teenage males were involved in the assault 'with one possibly using a knuckle duster'.

Two teens required treatment, including stitches, following the attack.

Police are now appealing for information and are asking anyone who may be able to help them in their investigations to contact them.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are investigating an assault that occurred in the area of Orangefield Lane in East Belfast on the 17th October.

"The assault took place at approximately 19:45 hours and involved a number of teenage males with one possibly using a knuckle duster which resulted in a number of injuries including stitches.

"If anyone has any information that can lead to identifying the suspects please dial 101 and quote the reference 1152 18/10/20."
