NI News: Bus and car involved in crash in Co Derry

A bus and a car have been involved in a crash in Co Derry.

The incident happened on Thursday afternoon shortly after 12pm at Railway Place in Coleraine.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a bus at Railway Place in Coleraine around noon today, 25 February.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries."

Meanwhile, a man has reportedly been stabbed and two men have been arrested following an incident in Co Antrim.

Police were called to the incident in Ballycastle which was first reported at around 8am this morning.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently dealing with an incident in Ballycastle. One male is understood to have sustained stab wounds and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

"Two men have been arrested. There are no further details at present."

Ballycastle Councillor Cara McShane said the incident occurred in the Leyland and Whitehall area this morning.

She told Belfast Live : "I condemn this and people should come forward to the police with any information."
