NI League Cup final ticket info confirmed ahead of Coleraine vs Cliftonville clash

Ticket details for this season's BetMcLean League Cup final have been announced.

Coleraine will take on Cliftonville in this year's showpiece decider at Windsor Park on Sunday, March 13.

The game will make history in being the first major domestic cup final to be held on a Sunday.

And now the NI Football League has confirmed ticket prices for the final will be £10 for adults and £5 concessions.

The cost is cheaper than the current pricing structure for NIFL Premiership fixtures which is set at a maximum of £12 and £8 concessions.

NIFL Chief Executive Gerard Lawlor hopes the "affordable" pricing helps attract a big crowd and turn the BetMclean League Cup final into "one of the leading events in the Northern Ireland sporting calendar".

Lawlor added: “The first stage of this of has been to set an affordable ticket pricing structure for fans, to firstly reward the loyal supporters of both clubs but also to provide a pathway to introducing new generation of supporters to the Irish League.

“Our aim to is to make this a welcoming family friendly event and we will also be working to distribute tickets to community, youth and voluntary groups to enjoy the game with us.”

Tickets will go on sale shortly, with all information announced by the NI Football League website in the coming weeks.
