NI fashion brand owner's favourite Spring pieces to inject some colour in to your wardrobe

Now that Spring has finally landed, the weather has certainly lifted everybody's spirits . It was so lovely to see sunshine and blue skies over the last week .

In my first column I discussed pairing it right back and collating a capsule wardrobe.

Putting basics and forever pieces in your wardrobe.

As summer is on the horizon I wanted to talk about ways to inject colour into your wardrobe. I am totally guilty of and have been in the past of taking the easy route and wearing black.

But I have to admit I do love wearing colour not only will it instantly lift your mood but will also add dept to your look.

Pop some colour into your style. I have picked out some nice pieces that I am loving at the moment so easily worn.

Blazers, trenches and jackets will look great over a simple tee or blouse and can be easily taken off if you want to pare things back.

Pick pieces that can be worn in multiple combinations to work your wardrobe harder. I spotted this lovely top from Cameo Boutique.

Such a great colour combination would be fabulous with denim.

If you want to go a little extra, I thought this shirt was very nice, I love the print the collar detail and the bow detail. Long sleeve top in Sister Jane's heart print fabric. I spotted this on Spoilt Belle Boutique.

This H&M Trench is such a great transition colour from Spring through to Summer. I love the detail, the buttons and it is a nice relaxed fit but can also be made more fitted with the belt.

I have paired it with the Beuabea Verbier Fedora and Samos Collection oval earring.

Two other pieces that will be key to your Spring/Summer wardrobe are firstly my number one, a Jumpsuit. Previously jumpsuits were worn quite dressed up.

But actually what I love about the existing jumpsuits there is so many lovely pieces that can be worn dressed up or down.

I have picked out two that have really caught my eye. I spotted this Khaki Boilersuit on the River Island website.

It really jumped out at me, you can wear it with trainers, sandals , heels (if we ever wear them again) and boots during the winter. I have put together some nice options for footwear below.
