NI Coronavirus latest figures breakdown as 511 new cases recorded

A further ten people have sadly lost their lives having contracted Covid-19, according to the latest figures from Department of Health.

The latest dashboard released to the public on Saturday, November 14 at 2pm show that eight of those deaths occurred in the current reporting period, whilst two occurred outside the last 24 hours.

Northern Ireland's death toll due to Covid-19 now stands at 849, according to DoH figures.

A further 511 individuals have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, with 3,070 people tested in the same period. In the last seven days, 3,700 people have been confirmed as having the virus.

Belfast has recorded the highest daily increase of cases in Northern Ireland today, with a further 115 cases, followed by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon with a further 71 new cases.

Newry Mourne and Down recorded the lowest daily increase with 22 new cases.

At present there are 49 patients in ICU here with Covid-19, 39 of those patients are on ventilators.

There are 422 Covid-19 patients in hospitals across Northern Ireland at present, hospitals here are operating at 98% bed occupancy.

In care homes here, there are 147 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and a further three suspected cases.
