NI benefits payment dates changed due to Easter holidays

Payment dates for Universal Credit and other benefits in Northern Ireland will change for some people this week due to Easter holidays.

The Department for Communities has issued the following advice to those receiving payments in the coming week.

There are three forthcoming dates this week which will be affected if your payment is usually delivered on these dates: Good Friday, Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the Department said: "If your normal payment falls on a Bank Holiday, you will be paid earlier.

"For people with benefit payments due on Friday 10th April, Monday 13th April and Tuesday 14th April 2020, their payments will be made on Thursday 9th April 2020."
