NHS Nottinghamshire Covid-19 vaccine booking website back online after 'technical difficulties'

Nottinghamshire residents wanting to book in for their Covid-19 vaccination online were unable to for a time due to the website crashing.

In the county, the NHS allows residents aged 70 and over to currently book their jab at a number of sites that are now open.

But on Thursday morning January 28, the website crashed due to "technical difficulties".

The NHS for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire said: "Our local Covid-19 vaccination booking website is currently experiencing technical issues. We are sorry for any inconvenience. It will be back up and running as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

The vaccine is being given out at three hospital hubs - Queen's Medical Centre, City Hospital and King’s Mill Hospital.  

There is also a Mass Vaccine Centre in Mansfield- Former Wickes store off Chesterfield Road South.

Ashfield Health Village, Kirkby in Ashfield

Forest Recreation Ground, Forest Fields, Nottingham

Gamston Community Centre, Gamston, Notts

King’s Meadow Campus, Lenton Lane, Nottingham

Newark Showground, Newark

Richard Herrod Centre, Carlton
