Last night a huge movement to say thank you to our NHS heroes and carers took place across Scotland, as thousands of people took to their doorsteps, balconies and windows to 'clap for their carers.'
Now NHS Lothian staff have created a heartwarming thank you video in response to last night's massive 'Clap for the NHS' efforts across the capital.
The Love Actually-esque video shows the staff taking it turns to hold signs showing their appreciation to all of those who are helping them during these difficult times.
The full message reads: "From all those who cannot stay at home, we want to THANK YOU!
"To all the companies and businesses for their kind discounts and generosity.
"To all the volunteers helping all over NHS Lothian.
"To all the patients and their families, for being understanding during this difficult time.
"For all the donations, given for both staff and patients.
"To everyone who has sent us well wishes and support!
"We want to THANK YOU!"
Messages flooded Twitter last night from locals celebrating their NHS frontline workers.
In response to the outpouring of appreciation, a NHS Lothian nurse tweeted: "Thank you to every single person out there! That has certainly lifted my spirits! We go again tomorrow!"
