NHS Lanarkshire’s vaccination team was at Fir Park on Sunday encouraging fans to get their COVID-19 vaccine.
The team thanked everyone who got their vaccine ahead of the Steelmen’s Scottish Premiership opener against Hibernian.
Craig Cunningham, from the South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership, said his team vaccinated 22 fans.
He told Lanarkshire Live : “There was a great atmosphere and the team was very well received.
"The people who did take up the offer of vaccination were those who may not have got it otherwise and we are now in contact with other local football clubs to provide a similar service.
“People can also attend drop-in clinics across Lanarkshire for both first and second doses."
NHS Lanarkshire has scheduled drop-in clinics until the end of August for people to get their vaccine, and the clinics also have appointments available for re-booking.
Clinics are for anyone who lives in Lanarkshire and who is aged 18 or over and has not had a first dose or who needs their second dose and has waited eight weeks or more since their first.
Dr Mark Russell, vaccination lead for the health board, said: “These clinics will help us to vaccinate our communities as quickly as possible and allow us to get back to the things we’ve missed.
“To make the clinics more convenient we have also added rebooking appointments on the same days as the drop-in clinics.
“This means that people can reschedule their booked appointment if it suits them better.
“People can also cancel their booked appointment and attend a drop-in clinic.”
