Tributes have been paid to a "well-respected" and "popular" Lanarkshire doctor after a body was found in the search for her.
Dr Catriona Gaskell, who worked as a registrar at the Mavor Medical Practice in East Kilbride, was discovered by police officers in a wooded area in Newton, Cambuslang, close to the home she shared with her partner Robbie Thomson.
The 29-year-old was reported missing over the weekend after leaving her home in Fallow Grove at around 8pm on Saturday.
She was later seen on CCTV walking towards Red Deer Road and into the wooded area nearby sparking concerns for her wellbeing.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

NHS Lanarkshire confirmed the doctor, known as Cat by friends and family, worked with the health board and sent their condolences to her loved ones.
Medical director, Dr Linda Findlay, told Lanarkshire Live: "We are all devastated to hear about our colleague Cat.
"She was a very popular member of our team and well-respected by all her colleagues and patients. She was a very committed and dedicated young doctor who made a very positive contribution to the practice and will be sorely missed.
"Our sincere condolences are with her family and friends at this very difficult time."

Cat's frantic partner Robbie publicly posted an appeal for help in tracing her on social media at the weekend - a post that was shared hundreds of times by the local and online community.
The charity SEVA Scotland, who Cat worked closely with over the years, also asked for help in finding the much loved doctor.
Upon learning of her death they posted: "Rest in peace Catriona."
Posting a picture of Cat, one friend said: "My wifey for lifey. Will love and miss you always Cat Gaskell."

Another added: "Horrible news about Cat who I knew well from school. Thoughts with Robbie, family and all of her friends."
And St Bride's RC Church, on Greenlees Road, Cambuslang, asked people to keep her family in their prayers.
They wrote online: "Such sad news.
"Please pray for her, her family and those who grieve her passing."
