NHS Ayrshire & Arran emergency departments experiencing 'high demand'

NHS Ayrshire & Arran have said that their emergency departments are experiencing high demand today.

The health board tweeted to say that the public should consider the "best care" for their condition.

The tweet read: "Our emergency departments are experiencing high demand at this time.

"Please consider the best care for your condition.

"Other services, such as NHS24 or local pharmacy, may be more appropriate."
