An NHS approved mental wellbeing app has been made free for all to use during the coronavirus outbreak to ensure everyone has access to support.
Thrive: Mental Wellbeing is a game based app that can be used to relax before a stressful situation or on a more regular basis to help you live a happier, more stress-free life.
The clinically effective app prevents and screens for mental health conditions and helps you manage your wellbeing.
Thrive has always been free for users through existing partner organisations including employers, NHS trusts, insurers, charities and other organisations.
But for individuals who don’t have access to these services and need support, the app has now been made available for all, to help everyone cope with the Covid-19 pandemic.
The app can be downloaded via the NHS apps library, which contains a small collection of free apps accredited and recommended by the NHS, as well as through the App Store, Google Play and the Thrive website.
New users require an access code to start using the app, which can be requested through the Thrive website here.
