Fully vaccinated travellers from the UK are missing out on going abroad due to errors with the NHS app.
The problems can occur when vaccine staff don’t press “save” on the data or where forms haven’t been filled in properly.
Dan Ciubotaru, a university professor at Oxford, told the Telegraph: “After five days I tried to call 119 to get a proof of vaccination, they told me to wait until seven days have passed. I did that, I called again, then they said they can’t do anything and I should call the vaccination centre.”

Eventually Mr Ciubotaru had his issue fixed by his GP.
Andrew Harrold, Brighton, also told the Telegraph about the problems he had encountered getting his records updated.
Mr Harrold claims he still hadn’t received proof of his double vaccination despite constant contact with health officials since he noticed the problem in May.
He claimed despite all his efforts 119 call centre staff, the NHS App helpline, NHS digital or his GP practice hadn’t been able to resolve his issue
He said: “"I’ll keep persevering but its a really hard system to navigate, and it risks excluding a lot of people from the return to normality.”
People who are facing this issue are being told to contact their GP, but GPs are warning this may take some time due to being overwhelmed by requests.
Proof of vaccination status is required for travel to amber list countries and could also soon be needed for entrance into venues such as nightclubs.
