Key workers and NHS staff are being given the chance to win a free break at a holiday cottage located in a stunning seaside resort in Devon
Family-run company Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays has launched the giveaway to encourage people to nominate a key worker to win a stay at the accommodation in the beautiful seaside town of Sidmouth.
Candidates can be nominated through the company’s Facebook and Instagram pages, from June 23 until July 23.
Manager Polly Burns said: “As soon as we realised the impact of Covid-19, we immediately advised our owners and guests that holidays would not be able to take place.
“Some of our owners have very kindly agreed to help local people in need of a place to self-isolate by offering them full use of their properties at a discounted rate.
"The community has truly come together to support one another, and we feel we are very lucky to live in Devon, especially at a time like this.”
The winner of the holiday giveaway will be treated to a three-night stay in the company’s stunning contemporary property The Crows Nest.
The property can sleep up to six guests, as it houses four cosy bedrooms along with private parking for two cars.
The winner will be chosen shortly after the giveaway closing date and can book their stay at The Crows Nest on any non-peak weeks, beginning when UK travel restrictions are fully lifted.
To nominate a key worker, visit the Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays Facebook or Instagram page and tag the person you wish to nominate in a comment on the competition’s post.
