NHL fans were in awe of Alex Ovechkin’s beautiful move that set up a big Game 7 goal

Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals came out flying in Wednesday night’s Game 7 against the Carolina Hurricanes, scoring two goals in the first seven minutes of the game.

While Andre Burakovsky opened the scoring just 2:13 into it, the move that Ovechkin made to set up the second goal is going to be talked about for a while after this one because it was a thing of beauty.

And it was classic Ovechkin as he raced into the zone, collected the puck, pulled off a toe-drag for the ages and then slipped a perfect pass to Tom Wilson who fired it into the net for a 2-0 lead.
