NHL fans had so many jokes about Brett Hull’s lively pregame performance

The St. Louis Blues went into Game 6 just one win away from earning the first Stanley Cup title in the franchise’s history.

So, of course, some Blues legends were in town for Sunday’s crucial game against the Boston Bruins at Enterprise Center.

Nobody — and I mean NOBODY — was having a better time than Brett Hull.

Just ahead of the opening face off, the Blues introduced former star players Hull, Bob Plager and Bernie Federko to lead the “Let’s Go Blues” chant. And, um, hockey fans could simply not get over how **spirited** Brett Hull was for this chant.

Look at him go!

The botched high-five attempt, the mistimed shouting, the arm around Federko’s shoulder — Brett Hull was having a great time.

This was how the hockey world reacted to that opening. They had plenty of jokes.

Hey, at least he’s enjoying himself. It is the Stanley Cup Final, after all.
