EA Sports has introduced their first-ever CHEL Week, a themed celebration for NHL 26 that runs for five days leading up to the official launch on September 12.
The event kicks off with the “Cult Superstars” theme, giving players a chance to unlock a lineup of fan-favorite icons alongside free items, daily drops, limited-time arcade events and more. Cult Superstars focuses on players who might not dominate MVP voting each year but have earned legendary status among fans for the way they play the game.
Throughout the week, players can unlock players like Tom Wilson, Nazem Kadri, Jacob Trouba, Jacob Slavin, Tie Domi, Georges Laraque, Kevin Weekes and others. Playoff standout Sam Bennett also gets the spotlight as a featured HUT Moments player. A fan vote on Friday will let the community decide who deserves a +1 OVR boost, while daily rewards and content updates help keep HUT moving.
NHL 26 officially launches worldwide on September 12 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Fans who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition already have early access, while EA Play members can try a 10-hour trial with progress carrying over to the full game and receive a discount on digital purchases.
