(Reuters) - A broad area of low pressure located a little over 900 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands has a 30 percent chance of developing into a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Wednesday.
"A tropical or subtropical depression could form over the weekend while the system turns westward well to the northeast of the Lesser Antilles," the Miami-based weather forecaster added.
