(Reuters) - A low-pressure area west of the Cabo Verde Islands has a 90 percent chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Tuesday.
"This system continues to become better organized, and any significant increase in the associated thunderstorm activity would result in the formation of a tropical depression within the next day or two," the Miami-based forecaster said.
