(Reuters) - A broad area of low pressure located about 450 miles east-northeast of the northern Leeward Islands has a 50% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Monday.
"A tropical or subtropical depression could form during the next couple of days while it moves north-westward and then northward over the open Atlantic," the NHC said.
