(Reuters) - A low pressure area located over the Bay of Campeche has a 50% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Thursday.
The associated showers and thunderstorms continue to show signs of organization and this system could become a short-lived tropical depression by Friday, the NHC said.
