(Reuters) - An area of low pressure, located just offshore of the coast of western Africa has a 30 percent change of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Monday.
The system, which is producing a large area of showers and thunderstorms has become better organized and a tropical depression could form in a few days over the eastern Atlantic, the Miami-based weather forecaster added.
