(Reuters) - A non-tropical low pressure area located several hundred miles west-northwest of the Azores has a 30% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Tuesday.
"The system could acquire some subtropical characteristics over the next couple of days while it moves slowly southwestward to southward over slightly warmer waters," the NHC added.
