The four players Nottingham Forest could sign this summer

There is uncertainty about when the summer transfer window will open and close, but Nottingham Forest have already been linked with a number of players.

The Reds' season is currently on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic, with Sabri Lamouchi's side and their Championship rivals currently seeing all-but-one of their remaining nine games postponed.

With domestic football looking likely to carry on into the summer, that could see the period in which the transfer window is open changed.

Normally it would open as soon as the season ends and close at the end of August, but this time it remains to be seen when teams will be able to trade players.

Forest, meanwhile, have already been linked with a few players for when the market does reopen.

Lamouchi has overseen a significant revamp of the first-team squad at the City Ground since he arrived last summer and if rumours are to be believed there could be more players arriving.

Here's every player the Reds have been linked with so far...

Perry Ng

Forest have been linked with a move for Crewe Alexandra defender Perry Ng.

Website TEAMtalk report that Forest are keen on signing the 23-year-old, with Championship rivals Birmingham City, Derby County, Charlton Athletic and Bristol City also credited with an interest.

Ng could be made available in the summer and is said to be set to leave Gresty Road.

The Crewe academy product, who spent time on loan at Hyde United in 2015, is contracted to the club until June 2021.

Ulrick Eneme-Ella

Forest have been linked with a move for French teenager Ulrick Eneme-Ella.

The Reds are said to be keeping an eye on the 18-year-old, along with Championship rivals Bristol City, according to Goal France.

Eneme-Ella joined Ligue 1 side Amiens in the summer, and is highly regarded after a spell in Austria with FC Liefering.

Things haven’t gone to plan since the move, though, and the attacking midfielder is yet to make a first-team appearance.

Mbaye Diagne

Forest are now 'ready to move' to sign transfer target Mbaye Diagne, according to various reports in Turkey.

The Galatasaray striker is currently on loan in Belgium with Club Brugge but, after a fall out with his manager at the Jan Breydel Stadium, has not played a first-team game since November.

And the Reds are said to be prepared to offer him a way out this summer with the 28-year-old currently being valued in the region of 6-8m euros.

The forward, who can play as a main striker or on the left wing, was linked with Norwich City last summer before moving to Belgium on loan last June.

Brown Ideye

The Reds have been linked with Nigerian striker Brown Ideye.

The 31-year-old, who spent two seasons with Evangelos Marinakis' Olympiacos, is currently playing for Greek club Aris.

He also spent one season with West Brom in the Premier League, scoring four goals in the top flight in 24 matches.

He was a club record signing for the Baggies in 2014 as they paid £10m to sign him from Dynamo Kiev.
