NG brought in to manage a Nottingham 'crown jewel', the Grade II listed Heathcote Buildings

Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have been brought in to manage a landmark building in one of Nottingham's most vibrant areas.

Jude Weston, director at NG, will head up the management of the Grade II listed Heathcote Buildings in Heathcote Street, Hockley.

The ground floor is home to a number of independent retail and leisure users, while the upper floors have self-contained offices. The building covers more than 32,000 sq ft of floorspace.

Mr Watson said: “This is a fascinating instruction for us and it's always a unique challenge to manage a Grade II listed building.

“I'm looking forward to working with our landlord client, as well as all the tenants to ensure we both continue to protect the heritage of the Heathcote Buildings, and also provide the very best space for people to work in."

NG has been instructed on behalf of the landlord Heathcote Buildings.

Hannah and Alice Burt from Heathcote Buildings said: "The Heathcote Buildings are one of Nottingham's crown jewels, but we know that with NG on board they are in safe hands.

“We look forward to working with Jude and the NG team and all our tenants to ensure that it becomes one of the most prestigious addresses in Nottingham to work from.

The Heathcote Buildings was designed by local architect Walker & Howitt on behalf of HG Jalland, completed in 1881, and was restored and converted in 1992.
