More than 100 artworks by leading Thai artists will be exhibited for 10 days starting from today until Dec 17 before they will be available for bidding on Dec 18 at 2pm, at River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24.
This will be the biggest auction event in 15 years by Bangkok Art Auction Center, which gives art enthusiasts and collectors a rare opportunity to bid for the works of top Thai artists, including senior artists Thawan Duchanee, Chakrapan Posayakrit, Chuang Moonpinit, Panya Vichinthanasarn, Pratuang Emjaroen, Chatchai Puipia and Sakwut Wisetmanee, as well as contemporary rising stars -- Yuree Kensaku, Alex Face, Gongkan, Linecensor and Suntur.

Highlighted artworks from the collection include Mahavinesekrom, an oil-on-canvas created in 1970 by Thawan Duchanee; Pink Orchid, a painting by Sakwut Wisetmanee; Iron Panty Warrior, an acrylic and collage on wood by Yuree Kensaku; and Two Faces, an acrylic and spray paint on canvas by Alex Face.
More special is that this is the country's first NFT (Non-fungible token) art auction fully integrated with a physical artworks auction. Taking the spotlight will be debut NFT art pieces by the rising artists of the era -- Suntur and Gongkan -- as well as the world-famous Thai NFT artist, Linecensor.
The artworks can be viewed at the RCB Galleria 1 on the 2nd floor. The exhibition's official opening ceremony starts today at 2pm. The auction on Dec 18 will take place at RCB Auctions, Room 459-460 on the 4th floor.
