They’re 3.5-point favorites in this one, which includes the usual three points built-in for the home team. The 49ers are dealing with injuries to three starters on offense, but the Rams have health concerns of their own with Todd Gurley uncertain to play.
Experts still see the Rams coming away with a win in this one with the majority of pundits taking Los Angeles. According to NFL Pickwatch, 72% of experts are picking the Rams to win on Sunday.
That’s a significant number considering the 49ers have the better record and have looked like playoff contenders the last few weeks. The Rams are still in contention, but the defense has given up 85 points in its last two games and struggles against the run.
The 49ers, on the other hand, love to run the ball and wear defenses down. If the Rams can’t slow down Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman, San Francisco could very easily come away with a win.
