NFL Week 1: Texans return some tickets for Saints season-opener

Here’s some good news for New Orleans Saints fans. The team announced on its official Twitter account that the Houston Texans returned a limited number of unsold tickets before their Sept. 9 kickoff, making them available for Saints fans who want to pack the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for the 2019 season-opener. You can see which tickets are available by following this link.

The Saints have enjoyed one of the NFL’s strongest home-field advantages in recent history; head coach Sean Payton commended fans for their high level of engagement and enthusiasm, and noted that, “We are counting on the same electricity,” in his Saturday media availability.

With just over 70,000 seats inside the Superdome and a lengthy waiting list for season tickets, opportunities to see the black and gold compete in live-action can be hard to come by. The Superdome will be undergoing extensive remodeling and expansion over the next few years, all in hopes of bettering the already-impressive Saints gameday experience.
