The Los Angeles Rams are an exciting team. They play in one of the nicest stadiums in the world. They have a lot going for them. But just as the Chargers struggle to build a fanbase in Los Angeles, the Rams are no match in the stands whenever a legacy franchise plays a game at SoFi Stadium.
But none of this should have been a surprise for the Rams — who spent 20 years away from California — it’s been like this since SoFi Stadium opened. So with that in mind, the Rams marketing team should have settled on a different slogan than, uh, “Rams House.”
It totally made the San Francisco 49ers’ takeover look even sillier during the NFC Championship Game.
