The Raiders defense could have made things a lot more interesting as we head into Thanksgiving week. But the ease with which Patrick Mahomes carved up the Las Vegas secondary on that game-winning drive just confirmed what we already knew: The Chiefs can flip the switch whenever they want and are ready to just fast-forward to the postseason.
I’m right there with them, to be honest. I’ve seen enough. The wild card races in both conferences will be interesting but ultimately won’t matter. Let’s just skip ahead to Championship Sunday and let Kansas City, Pittsburgh, New Orleans and Tampa Bay battle it out for a spot in the Super Bowl. Actually, can we just skip ahead to the Chiefs-Saints Super Bowl already?
