NFL supplemental draft time, rules and Titans prospects

The 2019 NFL Supplemental Draft takes place on Wednesday and provides some intriguing prospects for the Tennessee Titans to look at.

Per usual, some prospects will have an eligibility issue for the next season. But it’s still a chance to acquire some potentially significant players.

Here’s how the event works:

“Teams are split into three different groups (six wins or fewer, non-playoff teams and playoff teams) and then a lottery system determines the order. Teams then use a bidding system and designate which round they would draft a player with the highest bid winning the prospect. The winner loses that pick in the same round of the upcoming draft.”

The Titans are expected to target Washington State defensive back Jalen Thompson and West Virginia wide receiver Marcus Simms.

The draft is set to begin at 12:00 p.m CT.
