NFL star lobbies for team to draft Dwayne Haskins

The NFL draft is one week away and dreams will become reality for many young college football players. As usual, Ohio State will have no shortage of names called throughout the three-day event.

One might think after breaking more than 20 passing records at Ohio State, as well as supplanting Drew Brees’ single-season touchdown total among other Big Ten records, Dwayne Haskins would be at the top of everyone’s draft board. Well, he was… and then he wasn’t.

Maybe it’s just NFL GMs blowing smoke, but at least one NFL superstar is hoping Haskins falls to his team at the No. 10 pick.

That player?  Arguably the best linebacker in the league, Von Miller of the Denver Broncos.

We’ll find out soon enough where Dwayne Haskins will land in a professional uniform. No matter where Haskins gets picked, it’s safe to say he’s not going to be happy about being passed by others.

GMs of the NFL… you’ve been warned.
