NFL Scouting Combine staying in Indianapolis; some events moving to prime time

The NFL Scouting Combine is a yearly tradition in Indianapolis, but the location of the combine beyond 2021 is officially up in the air.

With the NFL draft now being held in a different city every year, it’s no surprise that the league is considering taking the combine on the road as well. Taking the draft on the road has been a huge success thus far, so we can certainly envision the combine in a city other than Indianapolis in 2022 and beyond.

That wasn’t the only change the league announced to the combine. Next year, the on-field drills will be shifting to prime time slots in both the afternoon and evening.

This is just another way for the league to make a spectacle out one of their most popular offseason events. With the draft becoming increasingly popular, we can’t say that we blame them.
