NFL salary cap set at $188.2M for 2019

The numbers are in for the 2019 NFL salary cap. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the league has informed teams this year’s number is $188.2 million.

In 2018, the cap was $177.2, so the increase is $11 million. It is the sixth straight year the cap has gone up by at least $10 million.

However, this increase is the lowest percentage increase of the last few seasons.

The Arizona Cardinals rolled over $6.4 million of unused cap space from 2018, so their actual salary cap will be $194.6 million. They will have an estimated $38 million to spend in free agency.
