NFL releases statement on DeSean Jackson’s “highly inappropriate” anti-Semitic comments and quotes

The NFL has now released a statement on the “inappropriate” comments and social media post that Eagles star wide receiver DeSean Jackson posted to his Instagram on Monday.

Any discipline for DeSean Jackson would be a club matter, not an NFL matter. The same applied in 2013, when another #Eagles receiver, Riley Cooper, was fined by the club for using a racial slur. https://t.co/pLsd21cOGW

Any discipline in the matter will likely come from the Eagles, as Adam Schefter reported the team could take back money from Jackson or worse, outright release him.
